Kevin, the line "For data, SQL Server or Oracle over DBF's any day of the week...take your pick..." is not positioning SQL against Oracle but rather SQL or Oracle against DBF. Hence my reply that whether to use a database server solution or a DBF solution does not have a generic answer but is, imo, application dependent.
