Marcia,
I tried to re-register the COMCTL32.OCX file after MSN had messed things up and found the only way I could get it to work in the VFP program was to un-install the application, unregister the conctrol, delete it and (believe it or not) install a copy of VB5 CCE and then un-install this and start again! I can only guess that either VFP has some problem itself or it's the setup wizard?!
Of course this isn't a real solution, so I'm trying to create a container for any of the Microsoft ActiveX controls I use, using the CCE system, and in that way tie applications to my specific version of the controls.
