You never quit playing this game won´t you ?

>And when the overall trends go up - and Fox stays flat or declines, that will dimiss the theory.

>I think they will go back up, but certainly not track the newer languages/technologies.

>Given that all aspects of the Fox market were exeriencing down-ticks when just about every other segments had up-ticks - I don't understand how one could reasonably conclude things will go back up. Putting the occasional upward blip aside - you are talking about reversing what has been an 8-9 year trend.

Facts please... You can´t back up this statement with facts. You can´t because you´re implying things that are not there. There real hard figures tell a different story.

>Correct. But, for Fox to remain profitable, it is managed within a narrow set of boundaries - that keep keep getting narrower.

Facts please... even if this is true, so what ?? As long as VFP is rich featured enough to make it distinctive to other tools it had the right to exist.

>You do realize that if a file-server based data mechanism is required, MS will advocate Access before Fox...

Facts please... I´ve a hard time remembering when MS advocated to use a access database.
