I like OCX toolbars. They have a state - which means that they can be made to appear disabled (the image looks disabled), but are still "clickable". Also, the OCX tool bar does not require (or demand) a focus when clicked.

I had thought about building my own using command buttons, but the details of the OCX keep me there.

The Foundation "ToolBar" (the dockable guy) only seems to work within _SCREEN. IS this true? If not, does the foundation toolbar have a "state" property?

I'll have to read on WinForms. But Winform controls mean I will have to go back a re-address the toolbar services in some of my apps. It would be nice just to install a new MSCOMCTL, open a legacy form, and see XP themes in the tool bar. It would also be nice to get a full nights sleep:-)
Thanks
