I've also had problems with TALK suddenly coming on in certain forms. It seems to mostly be a problem with private data sessions. For some reason the form gets labeled with talk on and it can be a real pain.

I've found putting the code 'SET TALK OFF' in the beforeopentables event in the data environment usually does the trick. But I've yet to find out why it starts putting talk on in the first place.
