But somehow, everytime when I add a new form of that class, I got a prompt saying illegal operations or something like that and that it bumps me out of VFP. However, if I create a new form class and then copy all the control to that form, then everything is fine. I wonder whether there is something wrong with my installation of VFP 5.0.

Add a new form to the class? Are you trying to create a formset?? If so, you must create the formset first.
