>>Have you experienced "bleeding" (from normal to bold) of checkbox caption fonts. This form has 7 checkboxes. It seems the one that gets a numeric value is less likely to bleed than the ones that get a logical. I have been hitting this issues every project. I could live with it - but it sure makes the interface look ugly.

Its a visual bug. XP/VFP8. (happens with 7 too!). The feature that "highlights" the box and caption as the mouse pointer moves over the control seems not to "unpaint" as it leaves the checkbox area.

One checkbox, that enables and disables, depending on the data, seems not to bleed. So I disabled all the other boxes (on form) and re-enabled at init - but it still happens.

It seemed there was a relation between the checkbox value type. The numeric assigment seemed less prone to "bleed" than than those with a logical type value. Weird. I think I have the reasons isolated and try to adjust, but it get thrown out the door at next test:-).

Also - I noticed the XP-orange halo around one of the boxes (like is was selected), and went in and turned off the tab stops - it fixed.

Also, I cheated to put the check boxes on. I made one (or copied it from a V6 form), and the pasted copies of it to the form for the other checkboxes. Those are the ones that are bleeding. The first one (copied) is not.
