Did you know you could do the same thing without all the code? Just launch the magnifier utility. On WinXP you find it by Start, All Programs, Accessories, Accessibility.

>The code at the url seemd to push a rectangle to _SCREEN, and then exagerate, smooth and render. I have some ideas for that guy too! But I will have to fool with it. Someone really dug into the APIs to work it out.

>>Hi Terry,
>>
>>Is this Anatoliy's code? I wonder if a similar process could be used to do something I've been playing around with off and on but haven't had time to focus on yet. I'd like to display an image of a form on the desktop but not actually run the form while a user is presented with a messagebox. I have a receipt screen that I want to display but I only want to display it and not have the window active at all for any type of input. I have an older thread on it here somewhere but I haven't tested all of the suggestions yet. When the user scrolls a grid of old receipts he/she is given the option to reprint the receipt. Before the receipt prints, I want to display the form on the screen and ask the user if he/she wants to print that receipt or not. I could throw an image on the desktop instead of actually displaying the form and then popup the messagebox.

>>>I was looking, again, for an API that I could use to control the "bleeding" of checkbox captions from normal to bold (if anybody knows how I can fix this, by all means let me know).
>>>
>>>During my search, I found a snipit of code that magnifies sections of the form the mouse cursor is over. It seemed cool enough to share!
