As a followup, VFP7/SP1 exits VFP if the RETURN .F. is in the Load method, but works correctly if it's in the Init method of the form. Wow, that is some difference. VFP6 and 8 work correctly returning .F. from either Load or Init, the form is not instanciated, and VFP doesn't exit. Only VFP7 seems to be affected by this strange occurance.
