>I just got into a heady discussion with another contractor over changes made on a form and with a user hitting Exit.....they want me to put up a message if changes were done on the form...."You made changes, are you sure....blah, blah, blah..." I think that if the user hits Exit, they exit.....they feel that too many users will lose lots of work because they've "mistakenly" hit Exit.

So what do you do on Exit if there are unresolved edits? The MS "standard" seems to be automatic revert, based on behavior of their system forms/pages. Our team is trying to decide what to do in this situation. Message, save, revert, etc. Right now we have message to save or not, but we'd like to do away with it if we could figure out what to do...a menu option is one idea, but we'd rather have one standard.
