>>For the record, I wrote asp .net extensions to a VFP/SQL Server app I wrote for a major benefits broker in southeastern PA (who btw way, has to comply with HIPAA < sigh >).

OK, so that's 2 dotNET apps, one of which (or both of which?) is an ASP.NET wrapper, right?

>>The most interesting thing about that aspect of the project was that I was able to use the same stored procs genernated via dataclas for the .NET stuff. Because all of the data-access logic and business rules were in the database - the asp .net extension were a snap.

Thanks, that is certainly another useful "tick" for SP.

What about this full time job with VFP and Oracle? Has the prodigal son returned? ;-)
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
