I know the functions I see through MSDN. I do see functions of finding records, I do see functions to compute summaries, but they are very basic as for example you cannot set advanced conditions. I don't see for example opportunities for indexed sequential scanning from a certain record while a certain condition is true. I don't see opportunities to do SQL analyzing on the dataset.

From what I see what is available does not make me happy. It all is very basic when it comes to get at the beef.

I'm very disappointed in the OO approach of handling data in .NET as in the DB world we've seen OO databases fail. Data should be handled relational, not OO.
