Hi Steve.

But, with the nowait statement in effect, the program no
longer to see what the user does after displaying the browse. Is there a way
to turn nowait off, so that the program is again waiting for the user to do
things in the Browse window?

Yes. Use a grid in a modal form instead < s >.
