The bottom line, investing $'s in Fox will be throwing good money after bad. If you like data, get proficient in SQL Server and Oracle. And, if you plan on developing apps for the Windows Platform - .NET is the way to go - especially since the day is going to arive when you will be able to have SQL Server host .NET assemblies.
You need to make a plan with short, intermediate, and long-term goals. This time next year, where do you want to be?
Best of luck!!
