>>In case anyone is interested - this is resolved. I had a corrupted GS dll related to the GS fll and this affected the loading of the fll. Reinstalled GS and all is working.

Hi --sb--. No thats not what I am saying. I have a test PC which I only use for testing and trying things out on. I loaded VFP8 SP1 on it and tried to re-compile a VFP app but it failed on trying to include the GS fll file.

After contacting GS and trying a a few things I decided to reinstall GS from the CD. Then the VFP compile worked ok again. I therefore assume that somehow on the test PC one or more of the related GS dll files became corrupted or went missing and this caused the fll to fail when loading as it in turn requires some of the GS dll files.

The fll was for sure ok as the first test I did was to reload the fll from a known working copy. Now it all works perfectly under SP1.

Stay well and regards.
