Hi Tracy:

>Your responses tend to remind me of those that refused to consider the automobile and stuck with the horse and carriage in the past. To me it appears to do more harm than good to recommend stagnation to other developers and limiting the discussion is tatamount to censure.

If you honestly mean what you have said above, then you have completely misread or misunderstood my original post. I am not advocating that VFP developers do anything one way or the other. Everyone should acquire different skills - isn't that so obvious? I am merely suggesting that VFP developers are by now quite aware of the reality of the market in which they are in. They don't need to be continuously chided about it, by someone who has made the same points over and over again, who appears to thrive on contention and the sound of his own initials and who, in my opinion, has a somewhat dubious agenda.

>We all know where censure leads...

I'm sorry but this kind of response is pure paranoia. Let me say it again; it was Houston who said that JVP should be banned. I reacted to Bonnie's somewhat over the top reaction to his post when she has more or less become involved in another playing field ie., C# (she is an MVP) and my feelings were that her response was flippant for the reason I have already discussed with her. We have been there now and done that. You are picking out the me versus JVP stuff and it just wasn't about that in the first place.

'Nuff said?
