I don't know where I dowloaded the "salvdb.zip" but as I read the lines "This utility was written in C using the CODEBASE libraries
and hence is much better that FIXDBF and anything else that is out there." I promptly remembered it was the utility that screwed my data files worse than ever before and so I wrote my own repair utility with FOX. Quickly deleted "salvdb.zip" forever (purge and overwrite to be sure) and suggest you to do so.
