I like this story of a bored (provincial) government employee...

The Toronto Sun newspaper used to print a scantily-clad lady (black and white back then) on page 3 (now moved to page last-2) and one day they received an envelope with several of them cut out but they were NUDE! Same ladys, but wearing nothing.
A big internal investigation followed, and after weeks of checking things out nothing was turned up. But pictures kept arriving every 3-4 days.

Ultimately they traced the envelope to a government office and discrete inquiries were made. An employee finally fessed-up.
Seems he was bored and took to using his fancy fine-point electric eraser to fiddle with the appropriate dots making the image, finally perfecting a technique that fooled even the most learned newspaper folk!
