From time to time, I have clients that have missing records. I save inside of a transaction and update 10-12 tables. The transaction will be successful but later the record will not be in 1 or possibly 2 of the tables. I am using VFP 7 with the most recent service pack.

Can anyone explain to me what the sequence of events is when a transaction is written on a workstation to a server on a peer to peer network. I think I have heard that VFP 8 handles this process differently. Does VFP 8 solve the problem? Thanks.
