We've been trying to track the cause of c0000005 errors in a client application for over 1 year. The error logs are not consistent other than to occur on some line of one of the methods during a particular process. No problems can be found anywhere in the code. Today was the first time we were able to recreate the problem and I am wondering if anyone else has had this experience:

We are running a process within a transaction that retrieves records based on various criteria. We can recreate the c0000005 error under one condition - that the person running the process has their Outlook 2000 email open and they have it set to notify them when an email has been recv'd. It has to be the setting that brings up a message dialog saying "You have new mail".
An email has to be rec'vd during the process to trigger the error.

The client uses Outlook 2000. The error can be recreated on WIN '98, NT, 2000, or XP for this to happen.

Does this sound familiar to anyone???
