There might be a way to use the MS "Search" application. One way to do it in foxpro might be to implement ADIR() to get a list of files and then do a SUBSTR search on the FILETOSTR:

? cMyString$FILETOSTR(ADIR(!)). Maybe Tasker or Sergey will hit this thread and give you some better advice;-)
