The United Nations failed miserably in both Bosnia and Rwanda, and this by it's own admission:

While I couldn't find any references to internal U.N. reports about it's actions, lack thereof, in Kosovo, I think we all know that it wasn't the U.N. that stopped the ethnic cleansing there.

Now, after those three pretty glaring cases of ineffectiveness by the U.N., you think we should wait for it to act? Like I wrote... insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result.
