If you're speaking about David Frankenbach, I wouldn't be the least surprised. I've had the priviledge of doing some beta testing for him. He's one of the people in this community that I have the highest regard for, both personally and professionally.
I've seen plenty of examples of what you're talking about. Usually, they're "Coding Horrors".:-)
