Dear Chris
That Frontline interview dates from October 2003, and things have become a little clearer since then... Kay is no longer quite so sure that WMD will be found, in fact he rubbishes the whole suggestion.
However, lets just leave it- I have no idea what "immediate threat" you were thinking of, if not WMD - were you thinking that Saddam might secretly deliver large tubes full of camel dung to Kentucky, perhaps? ;-)
Gotta go,

"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
