By stretching it, one could also say mine were too. :-)
What is really sad is that the hospital is an accredited institution (like a university). Education for doctors, nurses, dietitians and various other people are built into the system. There are interns, lectures, courses and all the bit. The problem with guys like me (the growing league of IS types) is that we require a dollar figure to take a course. A big no-no.
This hospital has over 10,000 employees. That is over a million dollars in just salary per day. Arg.
I will continue my crusade.
