Yes you can export the files. What I have done before is to create a straight text file containing the data that I need, then download the data to an attached PC using emulation software, (file transfer). This is an EBCDIC to ASCII transfer. Care must be taken to allow for "signed numeric" fields that require special handling. Once the data is in ASCII format on the PC, it is available to be imported into the VFP tables.

The programs are another story. It will require a re-write in VFP from the RPG on the AS400.
