Well, as it turns out, I was wrong and I apologize.

However, the problem is still mainly one connected with the FPU of the Pentium class processor. While MS Excel has issued a patch to fix this issue, I'm not sure that the same could be done with VFP because of the extra overhead involved. IOW, the patch could be implemented, but it may slow down things to an unacceptable point.

In my mind, I would rather have the Fox Team working on other issues. As I noted in other posts, it's important to consider the degree of accuracy needed, and program to that.
