Does your form have any controls that can recieve focus?

If your form only consists of things like labels, shapes and containers then VFP basically goes into an infinite loop trying to find a place to SetFocus(). I ran into this a long time back. The solution is to put a textbox on the form in a non-visible place ie left = 10000, top = 10000.

>One of my VFP 6.0 apps is causing probles for some machines. It takes over the cpu at 98-99 percent while on most machines it runs about 18-30 percent. The app has a main form that is maximized and a main menu in the main form. Giving focus to the main form lowers the cpu to 18-30 percent but as soon as you give focus to any other form it goes back to 99 percent. This is just on a few machines, runs fine on others.
