From bitter experience this is the result of the printer driver being used by the client, so we include a "Modi Report" option on our own print dialog to allow the client to modify the report, adjust the dimensions etc.

An alternative to save you the bother might be to install the same printer driver at your end and see if that helps. We have Epson dot matrix drivers installed for example to suit some of our tractor fed forms, and it seems to work OK.
