I do not know. I would start a new thread and post what you are having problems with the specific SPT code in a prg versus the command window observations. There are plenty of SQL Server gurus here that could probably answer that. My DB expertise is with Oracle instead of SQL Server.

Running in STEP ON mode I can see that the SQLTABLES and SQLEXEC commands are returning "0". So I cut an paste these lines exactly as written in the prg to my command window and execute them where they return "1" as they should. Then I can continue with the program execution in the debugger window.
