I have two VFP 6.0 apps. One app contains a user interface to access engineering drawings. When a drawing is selected for printing if it has not been date stamped for a given period of time this app sends data through ODBC to the second app. This second app is watching for data to be sent to it for processing. I need the first app to give time and check that the process has been complete before the user can print the drawing. I realize that if something goes wrong I also need a timeout function. Any ideas? I have tried to Do While check the FDATE() but I get an error that file does not exist(it really does).
