Hi,

I've had plenty of experience of active documents, and we've done a lot of work on it, only to find it's not supported in VFP8.

The only major problem I have had is when we used a hyperlink command button to quit the app and return to the previous page - caused a crash about 25% of the time.

I really like using them, as writing the code is easy, and you have all the good things about FoxPro (pageframes, grids, drop down lists etc. etc..) built in.

Installing the runtime and dll's can be done from the web, so that's not a problem.

It even appears that you can run app's built in VFP8 using the vfp7run.exe, but we have to do more work before we roll out any VFP8 applications.

Hope this helps a bit

Dave.
