Willem,

>I don't want/need to work with 14 or 15 significant digits but this value is the result of a set of calculations from value's with not more than 6 or 7 significant digits. This result is saved in a variable. I just want to round this value at the end of the calc. Now i have to work around the fact that VFP saves too much significant digits for it's own functions like round().
>Do you think it is (reasonably) possible for MS to put a limit on the significant digits returned from calculations so this problem won't occur any more? Or am i saying something stupid now...?

You might need to do your own set of rounding intermediate results. It really does depend on what you are calculating, so it needs to be up to you to make those determinations.

>Yes, but just for the versions before VFP 7 & 8...

This makes it another error, because the KB article has not been updated to accurately list the affected versions.
