Hello All

Can anyone confirm the position when performing a SELECT statement again a local (row or table buffered) view that contains newly appended record(s) that have not yet been saved to the view's source table. Will the SELECT ignore the un-saved new record(s)? If so, is that a reliable rule of thumb that I can take for granted?

Also, what would be the case when SQL SELECTing against non-new, existing record(s) in the same local view that have been edited with un-saved changes. If the SELECT statement picked up such records, will the SELECT return the original column values or the changed but as yet un-saved values?

Bye and thanks!

Angie
