Bingo. Problem solved. Now the startup program says
do form myParent
REad Events

The unload method of the myParent form has a Clear Events in it.

Another question:
When myParent form calls a child form should I have it say
do form myChild
Read Events

and put a Clear Events in the unload of myChild form?

What about in the case where there is an EXIT button on the myChild form, the click of
which has an thisForm.release()

In this case does the Clear Events go into the Unload of the myChild form??
