I don't blame the politicians. It's nobody's fault except the voters.

>I agree in that politics here is very similar to what happens in the U.S. Different 'style' but the same end result.
>
>There has, though, been a DEFINITE forgetting of WHO THEY WORK FOR!
>Politicians NOW work strictly for themselves. They get their "benefits" from big corporations and do the corporations' bidding.
>It was hard to fathom, for instance, the medicare drug plan that President Bush came up with UNTIL you remembered the corporate influence. Then it all made 'sense' - sense as to how it came to be that way but still no sense at all as to how it serves the people.
>Apparently there is soon going to be a "relaxing" of pension funds payment requirements. It will allow corporations to legally NOT pay certain amounts otherwise due and payable into funds, ostensibly to provide relief so that they don't outright cancel their pensions. Got a law getting in the way... just cancel it!
>I wonder who's going to pay when those pensions become due... why all those taxpayers who are subsidizing airlines and utilities and (corporate) farming etc. of course!
>
>It's quite odd to hear ending corporate welfare repeated when all the while the corporate welfare amounts are growing exponentially.
>
>When there's ONLY McJobs left, thus no one to feed the politicians, it will be interesting to watch them morph into something else.
