My main question is that I have been looking into learning powerbuilder recently and Ive read from various messages that quite a few developers here( mainly you yanks!) have used PB5/6 as well as VFP5 for CS.I would just like to ask them how long they would think it would take to realisticaly learn? (ive passed the fox exam and i know sql server)Its a bit of a leap of faith if you see what i mean, I also have no qualms about backing both horses... Lets put to one side the argument for which is the better front end, or its RAD capabilities, money does play a large role in this. Is anyone here aware what contractor rates in the UK for PB are approx. twice that for VF rates ? There are also twice as many contracts due to brit companies following there american counterparts corporate standard..see jobserve.com for proof.
