Actually, I'm not an advanced VFP user, so I'd never heard of the ".fpw" config file. After reading about it in HELP, and experimenting with it about all afternoon, I have created a batch file that runs when I click the icon that uses the config.fpw file I created that starts the program that runs smooth as silk. It works like clockwork. I really appreciate yours and everyone else's help that responded.
