Hello all. I am using remote views to access an oracle database.

What I found was that when I am populating the view and then do a copy to filename type sdf and review the resulting file, all numeric fields are off by 2.

N2 in the file is N4, N5 is N7, N1 is N3, N7.2 is N8.2.

With foxpro tables and foxpro tables accessed through remote views there is no problem.

Does anyone have an idea of what is happening here?

I even went and using the command window:
use database?
(opened the remote database)
use remote view
copy stru to test1
use test1
modi stru

and this verified that the field sizes were incorrect.
