Taking a step back and looking at it from a '20,000 foot view'; MS has taken away 'dll hell' and replaced it with '.net revision hell'.
With Visual Studio 6 as mature as it is I've solved many `dll hell`
issues and I am 100% comfortable with any difficulties in the deployment process.
I am far less familiar with the problems associated with the deployment of a .NET application.
