Yes, I sent you the newest version from VFP8 however the only thing in the code that effects what you need is the collection object which I handle other ways in previous version of VFP.
You are correct I use the native listbox.
I am glad at least it helped clarify some ideas. I orginally started using listboxes becuse of the number of strange things that happened in VFP6 with grids. The main problem was that the init events of other controls would sometimes not fire when a grid was on the page and I used a function expression in the column ControlSource. Since I switched to listboxes I have never had a problem and I even use it as a poor man's treeview control as you can see in the following link.
