Is there any remote possibility that the time you invested in VFP made learning VB easier?
Just to avoid throwing the baby out with the bathwater, remember that in OO development the payoff is not always on one project, but rather on the amount of things you can leverage across projects.
Intersting that you find VB an faster environment to code in, becasue I foudn it just the opposite, I found the number of windows flying around when I wanted to focus on one issue was disconcerting. I found the lack of a command window a major set back.
I would love to see intellisense make it into VFP, however.
