hen the answer is still to use AFIELDS() to get a lsit fo teh setting for all of the fileds int ehtable and then look at the one you are concerned with and set the picture clause (2.x) or inputmask (VFP) of the textbox accordingly.

The only problem in 2.x is that you cannot change the picture clause oin the fly so you have to do all of this before the GET is issued.
