I am having problems with the background colors of selected (highlighted) items in LISTBOXES and TEXTBOXES. When a form is first activated the items in a listbox and textbox highlight color seems to be linked to the background color of another object - in this case a shape. In other words, the shape in question has a red background color and when I activate the form, the entire listbox and text box has a background color of red.

This same phenomenon also occurs randomly when I click or select an object within a listbox. the item that was previously highlighted is now red also.

Any ideas? I'm stumped.
