Jon,
Yes i left out some params....
xx = SQLSTRINGCONNECT("dsn=CSNDB02; uid=ORATEST1; pwd=oratest1")
oCRW85 = CREATEOBJECT("CrystalRuntime.Application.8.5")
UU = ;
oCRW85.LogOnServe("pdsodbc.dll","CSNDB02","ORATEST1","ORATEST1","PASSWORD") && 16 bit DLL
Thanks for the CRViewer tip - but I still can't get logged
on. I did notice that the DLL in the reports are all
"pdsodbc.dll" (16bit) and I was attempting to connect
using P2sodbc.dll (the 32bit version).
(I read they have to be the same)
In fact I had to download the 16bit version -
i didn't have it. Still cannot log on...
Would installing Crystal Reports 9.0 Professional on my workstation, to
access CR 8.5 on the remote server sound reasonable?
PS - I cannot change or alter any server CR's
I just want to LogOnServer, OpenReport & let a user
refresh the data & print it. Sounds simple.
I dont have any CR help
