The only way to avoid this is to always assign perfect code... :)

Whatever you tried to assign, if it doesn't work, copy the code to the clipboard (if it's in a variable or expression, _cliptext=ThatVariable) and paste it into the method manually. Then try to close the editing window and see where the error was.
