Hi all

I would like to store only the pathname to a given file (bmp, jpg, eml, doc, etc.) in my database.

Is there a class already that gets file pathnames with also the facility that when the users double-clicks it or pushes an open button the respective registered utility/app for that particular file is fired for the user to view/edit.

If not could I get some pointers on what is required to call with the file pathname so that windows opens the respective app for the file.
