It's an assumption I probably should not have made, but it's hard to imagine why they would want to write a new app with Access when they're planning to move their xbase programs to a new platform. Sounds too much like planned obsolescence to make work.

That's the part I don't really get too. It's like changing $1 for 4 quarters. I would've said 3 quarters but I don't want to offend Access fans ;-)
