>VB gives you the most intelligent development environment to date.<

A lot of VB developers would dispute that great development environment.

>I do see a serious problem with VB in terms of stability and predictability. I am extremely familiar with VFP. I have used it for just about everything it was *intended* to be used for. The problem comes when you try and get it to behave in a specified manner. We've all had our gripes with ther report designer. Grids and other controls that don't behave according to spec, or in an unexpected manner. I have seen VERY little of this in VB.<

At least VFP HAS a report designer. You mean you've never experienced a mysterious Crystal Reports GPF?? Or a flat out hang? I helped debug a VB app a few months ago that did OLE calls to Excel and kept randomly dying...MS product talking to MS product. Why not do a count on the number of BUGS in MS Knowledge Base regarding VB?? Many many more than Fox.

Gimme a break on this issue....I'd like to see someone else address this......
