I'm struggling with a project where I need to use some special ActiveX controls in VFP, it appears I can get no support from the provider of the ActiveX control for VFP, and my attempts at guessing how to use the controls are not working too fast. I can get some results but the actual fomrat of parameters to be passed is difficult to figure out.

However, I have a working example in VB that can use the ActiveX control to access the company data from their web site, and retrieve what I want.

There seem to be two ways of dealing with this.

1. Give up on VFP and write the whole thing in VB, the database part is ver minimal. But I have not don much VB work, and none with tables.
2. Save data in text files from VFP, call a VB exe to do the work and process the results.

Any other ideas.
